Karah (Bowles) Short     
 
     is a 2003 graduate from the Lexington Healing Arts Academy(LHAA) and has been a Certified Licensed Massage Therapist since 2003 and a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2005.  
 
Karah has also received a Certification in Fibromyalgia and Pain Management, Certification in Spa Therapy that Heals(Certification includes body wraps, facials, scrubs etc), additional training in the spa industry while working at Woodhouse Day Spa,16 hrs in Reflexology, and additional training in Hot Stone Massage, Prenatal Massage,Sports Massage, and Chair Massage.
 
Since graduating from LHAA you might know Karah from working in other massage locations in KY such as: Touch of Class in Mount Vernon, Hello Gorgeous and NV Salon and Spa in Richmond, Woodhouse Day Spa in Somerset, Serenity Therapeutic Massage, and Berea Clinic of Internal Medicine both here in Berea.
 
 
Cheryl Henry
   has been a Massage Therapist since the early 1990's, a Licensed Massage Therapist since the 2000's and has over 20 years of experience.
 
Since the 1990's she has taken many classes and received several certifications. She has been trained and certified in Chair Massage, Hot and Cold Stone Therapy, Bella Vie Facials, Reflexology, Russian Relaxation Massage and Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy.
 
You might also know Cheryl from working at Head Hunters Salon in Berea KY, A Time for You in Richmond KY, or The Massage Center in Dudley Square in Lexington KY where she worked for over 17 years.
 
 
 Andri Kukas
 
   is a modern east meets west individual, and takes this approach to health and healing. Born out of families from California and Colorado, she’s settled in Kentucky for 16 years and for good, “ I love the landscape and the people of Kentucky; I’m at home.”
 
Her education varies from western scientific approaches (such as a Bachelors of Science in Ecology), to eastern holistic approaches (such as yoga, meditation and reiki). Her training includes 600-hours in Massage Therapy at the Lexington Healing Arts Academy, which concluded in National Certification of Massage and Therapeutic Bodywork and Kentucky Licensure in 2009. 
Previously, teaching yoga and dance after studying 200-hours of yoga at LHAA with a training certification from Yoga Alliance International; She’s also certified Massage Therapist, certified in Reiki, and studying for certification in Lymphatic Drainage and Craniosacral therapy.
 
In her work as a massage therapist she uses a varied approach. You will experience subtle neuromuscular approaches through reflexology, reiki and movement reeducation, as well as a direct and scientific approaches through myofascial release, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, or stripping of muscles. She’s noted for finding “your spots”; this is reflected in her clients common response to her work, “how did you find all my sore places?” Her work in a Chiropractors office has resulted in the know how to provide relief from injuries, chronic medical conditions, as well as common lower back, neck, shoulder, and headache troubles.
 
 “My focus is on your needs and your overall wellness. You can choose a 100% easy does it Swedish relaxation massage, but if you want, I’ll work with your posture and breath as much as the nervous system and muscular components of your body.”
 
Andri is an avid organic food grower and consumer, and has a favorite job in life, “being a mother to my two boys.”
